Talk about legends! The next two guests on the STATUS Respect Show are none other than Chicco Twala and Hugh Masekela. Add HHP to the mix and you’ve got three musical geniuses all on one set! It’s enough to make music lovers everywhere start losing their minds.
First up is the often-controversial Sello “Chicco” Twala, musician and producer of note. He’s worked with the best of the best - Yvonne Chaka Chaka, the late Brenda Fassie and even with Lebo M on the Lion King musical – but also holds his own in the music biz. We can’t wait to see what stories he’s got to tell Jabba…
Then there’s the always-charming Bra Hugh Masekela, Mzansi’s undisputed jazz master. Who doesn’t have memories of their parents doing the jaiva to a bit of Hugh’s trumpeting? The man is full of fascinating tales of days gone by, so tune in for a walk down memory lane.
See Chicco and Hugh only on The Respect Show with HHP next Wednesday, 7 April on SABC 1 at 6.30pm.
